ENROLLMENT HAS REOPENED - PLEASE COMPLETE BY AUGUST 7

Dear USD 417 Families,
Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year has reopened. All returning and new students are required to complete the enrollment process. Please note that there will be no on-site enrollment this year. For assistance, contact the district office or your child’s school. Secretaries will return to their buildings starting Monday, August 3rd.
If you are unsure whether you completed the enrollment forms in the spring, you can confirm your status with the district office or your child’s school.
If you know that your student(s) will not be returning, please inform the school.
Both new and returning students will complete the enrollment process through the PowerSchool Parent Portal under the "Forms" section. If you are a parent or guardian of a returning student, you already have a Parent Portal account from last year’s enrollment. If you have forgotten your username or password, please visit the Parent Portal link, click on “Forgot Username or Password?” and follow the prompts to recover your account.
If you are a parent or guardian of a new student, please use the Pre-Registration Portal link below to pre-register your child. An administrator will review the information you submit, and you will be notified via the email address you provide whether your child's pre-registration has been approved or rejected. If approved, you will receive an email with instructions for setting up a PowerSchool Parent Portal account and completing the enrollment forms.
Please note that current USD 417 students should not use the Pre-Registration Portal.
Fees will not be collected at this time but will be invoiced on October 1st. We hope this change will allow families to focus on back-to-school shopping, with school fees being taken care of later in the year.
